Quick Chicken Curry

Ingredients
Chicken                                           -              1 Kg
Onion                                              -              3 Large , paste
Tomatoes Pureed                            -              2 nos , large
Garlic                                              -              1 Tablespoon paste
Ginger                                             -              1 Tablespoon paste
Coriander Powder                           -              2 Teaspoon
Cumin Powder                                  -              2 Teaspoon
Turmeric Powder                             -              ½ Teaspoon
Red Chili Powder                              -              ½ Teaspoon
Garam masala Powder                     -              1 Teaspoon (or as per taste)
Salt                                                    -              As per taste
Oil                                                     -              2 tablespoons (or as required)
Fresh Coriander                                -              To Garnish

Method
Heat oil in a pan and sauté the onion paste, garlic & ginger paste till golden brown. Add tomato puree. When the tomato puree dries up, add coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, red chili powder, turmeric powder and salt. Let the spices cook. Add chicken pieces into the masala. Stir well and cook till they are golden brown. Add ½ cup of water and stir. Cover with a lid and let it simmer till the chicken is cooked. Garnish with chopped coriander and serve.

Tips – You can make dry chicken by adding 2 tablespoon of whisked curd and less water and cook it on steam.
