- All kinds of oils have equal calories..its only that the monounsaturated fats that matter...so don't think that olive oil has least calories !! But yes its a healthy option..
- Always keep one or two boiled potatoes in your fridge..They stay for longer and are handy to make a quick vegetable ..soup or salad..just peel and go with it !!
- Instead of buying frozen green peas from the market..just buy fresh green peas and then peel the pods and keep it in a airtight box in the freezer..use directly while cooking..they will be as fresh as you bought them.
- The more you see green in your grocery the healthier you are eating..ex- green vegetables..green fruits..Green salads..they are filled with oozing antioxidants & Vitamins.
- While boiling eggs or potatoes add a slice of lemon to the pan.This avoids darkening of the vessel.
- Whenever you wanna make that perfect tikkis or pattice.Shape them and refrigerate them for 30 mins before frying .This will avoid cracks in them and your tikkis will be very crisp.
