Ingredients
Brown Poha - 1 Cup washed and drained
Moong Sprouts - ½ Cup (par boiled with salt)
Roasted Peanuts - 2 Table spoon
Roasted Sesame - 1 teaspoon
Oil - 2 tablespoons (or as required)
Green Chillies - 2 nos finely chopped
Cumin Seeds - 1 teaspoon
Onion - 1 Nos medium thinly sliced in length
Tomatoes - 1 nos finely chopped
Carrot - ½ piece (shredded)
Turmeric Powder - 1 teaspoon
Salt - As per taste
Lemon Juice - 2 Tablespoons (or as per taste)
Fresh Coriander - For garnishing
Method
Heat oil in a wok. Add cumin seeds, green chillies, roasted peanuts, roasted sesame and stir for 1 minute. Then add sliced onion and sauté for 2 minutes or until slightly translucent. Add shredded carrot & turmeric powder and stir. Then add sprouts and tomatoes and cook for about 2 mins or until tomatoes become soft. Add salt and Poha and stir well cooking it on a medium flame. Once the poha is mixed well, turn off the gas and add fresh lemon juice as per taste, garnish with freshly chopped coriander and serve with hot cup of ginger tea.
Tips – To make chat out of this add little curd, chat masala and sprinkle sev on top of it.
